BIECO - Building Trust in Ecosystems and Ecosystem Components

Abstract

BIECO aimed to improve trust and resilience in complex ICT supply-chain ecosystems through advanced cybersecurity analysis and risk-assessment methodologies. The project investigated vulnerability propagation, dependency analysis, and cyber-risk management techniques for interconnected digital infrastructures.

Research activities included the development of AI-driven methods for vulnerability analysis, cyber-threat prediction, and security assessment in distributed ICT ecosystems. The project explored how vulnerabilities propagate across interconnected infrastructures and how predictive analytics can support proactive cybersecurity strategies.

The project contributed to the development of trustworthy and resilient digital ecosystems for critical infrastructures and industrial environments.
